'IMPACT KALONGA' program Bears Overwhelming Results

Sabbath, 26th May 2018 will remain an unforgettable to the people of Kalonga village in Dowa West as this was the day a new church, Seventh day Adventist was born in the area. A total of 268 people have been baptised at the end of a two week crusade that was conducted in the area as part of the Master Guide Impact Program.

On the same day, two houses that were built as part of the program by the Master guides were also handed over to two aged women. Member of Parliament for the area, Honourable Alexander Kusamba Dzonzi together with Central Malawi Conference president, pastor John Phiri, T/A Dzoole and CMC Youth director, Pastor Chancy Mchewere Banda presented the houses including mattresses to the elderly women.

The outreach program included provision of free medical services to the communities of Kalonga Village and surrounding areas throughout the two week crusade period. Every morning, scores of people lined up to receive treatment for different ailments. Dr.Nelson Msiska, who was preaching during the crusade also led the clinic team.

Meanwhile as the church is born, support is urgently needed to provide for shelter as no structure is currently available for the worshipers.
