Area 18 and Nsewa SDA Churches Dedicated to the Lord

The Malawi Union Conference President of the Seventh Day Adventist Church Pastor Frackson Kuyama said 18th November 2018 was a big day because Area 18 and Nsewa Seventh Day Adventist Churches were being dedicated to the Lord. He said this before Cutting ribbons that marked the official opening of the doors of Area 18 and Nsewa Seventh Day Adventist Churches.

In his separate addresses to the two congregations,Pastor Frackson Kuyama emphasized that the Church is a house of all people who were burdened with all sorts of sins, therefore all should be welcomed in the church to cast their burdens to Christ.

“This church is a house of all people regardless of where they come from, whether rich or poor. The church is for sinners and they need the church so that God should cleanse their sins,” said Kuyama.

Kuyama further urged church members to show love and care for one another as children of one family. He said that this should not only be practiced amongst church members but to those outside the church as well.He said people should see God in christians whether at home, at work or elsewhere.

“As a church, let us use the little things that God has blessed us with and help those who don’t have the potential to go on with their lives. Your joy will not be found in your wealth, food, clothes, or your houses but your joy and love is found in Jesus Christ,” added Kuyama.

He further told the two churches that it was important that each fellow member is recognized as being equally important and avoid segregation in the house of the Lord. He advised members to avoid forming groups based on their social class and status because Christ makes us one.

Addressing the two congregations separately,Central Malawi Conference President of the SDA church Pastor John Phiri said the Conference has received the churches wholeheartedly .

“Today is a remarkable day in the Central Malawi Conference and we will make sure that we take care of the churches as property of the Lord,”said Phiri.

The district Pastors of the two churches, Pastor Zilinde of Area 18 and Pastor Innocent Magwira of Nsewa expressed their gratitude to the Malawi Union president, Central Malawi Conference President and all invited guests present for spicing up the

ceremony.
