Leaning On The Greatest Master Teacher-Jesus Christ

Sabbath, the 9th May 2020 has been of great importance especially in the lives of many young people at Mkwinda SDA Church,a constituent Branch of Bunda Church for an impressing youth awareness program. As the Bible explains in the book of Hebrews chapter 4:15 that, we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but One that hath been in all points tempted like as we are. The scripture is plainly true regarding the works of the high priest of the heavenly sanctuary that explains the sequence of events sorrounding the magnificent plan of redemption for many. Sharing, the message of hope entitled "Leaning on the master teacher", during divine service program, Jackson Maclay highlighted some of the crucial areas of clinging to the Lord Jesus thereby encouraging the congregation and all youths to hold on unto the truth despite facing opposition from within and without. "I would like to appeal to you all to remain focused and dedicated in performing God's work with trembling. You need to strongly grow in faith always", added Maclay. The congregation and in particular, the youth were highlighted on the Youth Department history, Youth Ministry Leadership, Pathfindering and uniform, and were treated to heveanly songs from the Church choir, Adventist Men, and Women's choir. Mkwinda Church Leader Thomas Damiano Phiri welcomed the idea of conducting youth awareness program since it helps arousing the mindset of young people in working for God. "We are very optimistic that our youths have been equipped with knowledge and skills on how they can serve their fellow youths in mustering for God," Phiri added. Congregating at the agriculture's Extension Planning Area's meeting room, Mkwinda Church, was established in 2019, following a three weeks evangelistic effort that was conducted by the district pastor Brian Nthengu. The Church is still at early phase of operations as it is now in the process of securing a piece of land within it's vicinity for church planting.
